Jr. Carpenter

As promised, the layout I've been working on all week. The patterned paper is from Daisy Bucket Designs. I love these pictures of Hunter and Joe working on a toolbox together. I hope he learns all of Joe's handyman skills.

Finally something new! I attended a Close to My Heart workshop last night and this is the 12x12 layout we created. Very simple, but looks great! The demonstrator's website, where you can find all the Close to My Heart products is http://www.simplycreating.myctmh.com/. It's worth taking a look. I'm almost finished the layout I've been working on this week, and will hopefully post it later tonight.

My friend Pam is moving to Ottawa at the end of July. Gwen and I created an 8x8 scrapbook for her with all of our "babyville" memories. Here is my favorite page. Pam looks so happy in this picture. We are all going to miss her very much.
The layout was lifted from a card on page 31 in the Idea Book Summer 2008 for Close to My Heart. http://www.closetomyheart.com/IdeaBooks/Summer08CanMyCTMH.aspx. All the papers are Die Cuts with a View. Buttons are from Dollarama (I think!). The letters are Quickutz. Behind the picture is a pull out tab with journalling (a special goodbye note).

Teacher Gift

For Hunter's Teacher I created a box set of note cards. I can't take credit for the design, all of the ideas I got from the Splitcoaststampers website. There are eight cards. Four vertical and four horizontal. They were created using the Priceless stamp set from Stampin' Up and Earth Elements cardstock and ink. I also added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to give them that special touch. I hope she likes them.

I've created this blog to showcase scrapbooking projects.
