Bowmanville Zoo

I managed to tear myself away from my stamps and cardmaking long enough to make a couple of scrapbook pages. This one is from a trip to the Bowmanville Zoo a couple of summers ago. It was just me and the kids. I won't forget this trip to the zoo, especially after putting something in the garbage only to find two little eyes starring back at me. A baby raccoon managed to get into the garbage can. It was quite shocking. I'm still cautious when putting stuff in a garbage can!

Happy Birthday Zoey

My beautiful niece turns one tomorrow, March 15th! I created this card for her birthday. I got the idea from Hope's Barbie cd player.

Here are some cards I recently made for my Mom. They are both quite simple, but I think they turned out well. The first card uses Garden Greetings stamp set and Pacific Blue, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip ink. The second card uses a flower from the Priceless set, a little bit of Christmas designer paper (I think it was ski slope; I didn't think it was very Christmas like) and Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette paper. I made some others, which I'll post at another time. I think she liked them.
