Happy Birthday Zoey

My beautiful niece turns one tomorrow, March 15th! I created this card for her birthday. I got the idea from Hope's Barbie cd player.

Friendship Card

I was trying to post a layout I made for Hunter's school album, but for some reason the image will not upload. So instead, here is a card I created a little while ago. I createdit for a Verve Challenge. I made another version of this card that I like much better. I'd post it, but I sent to my cousin before I could take a picture of it.

Fall-Winter 2008 Stampin' Up Catalogue - Lifts!

My projects lately are alternating between cards and scrapbook pages. I have finally started Hunter's school scrapbook and finished both his JK and SK pages. I like how they turned out and will share them once I figure out how to black out the kids in his class photo.

Yesterday I went through (again!) the Fall-Winter 2008 Stampin' Up Catalogue for more ideas. I set out on a mission to create all of the cards I liked in the catalogue. I was able to finish two of the cards. The first is a lift of a thank you card on page 16 and the second is a lift of birthday card on page 4. I really had to force myself to use the supplies/tools that I have. My wish list is so incredibly long it's ridiculous. And I'm sure it will get bigger once the new catalogue comes out.

Friendship Blooms

I thought I would take a break from posting Christmas cards. Actually, all my cards have been written and mailed. Check that off the list. But I still have lots to do in order to be ready for the 25th. The birthdays are done; the shopping is done; the baking is done; I'm working on the last calendar, and all the gifts still need to be wrapped. Thankfully Joe wrapped a few this evening. He forgot to use the Santa wrap (all Santa gifts are wrapped in Santa paper), but I'm trying to just let it go and be thankful for the help.

About the card...I created this using the "Friendship Blooms" stamp set from Stampin' Up. Cardstock and ribbon is Old Olive. The patterned paper is Deja Views. I really like how this turned out. I have to get more sentiments of this style.
